Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 to buy long guns, shotguns, ammunition for them, and related items, and at least 21 to buy handguns, handgun ammunition, and receivers/frames (California requires 21 for all firearm purchases, with limited exceptions).
- You must be legally allowed to own firearms and ammunition under federal, state, and local law.
- California buyers need a valid Firearm Safety Certificate (FSC) and must pass a DROS background check. Nevada buyers go through a NICS check.
Legal compliance
- All firearm sales are completed through an in-person transfer at our FFL after the required background check and paperwork.
- You are responsible for knowing and following the laws where you live, including state, county, and city restrictions on firearms, magazines, ammunition, and accessories.
- We may refuse or cancel any order we believe may violate the law, including suspected straw purchases.
California roster & compliance
Handguns sold to California residents must be on the California DOJ Handgun Roster unless an exemption applies. Some firearms, magazines, and features are restricted in California. Listing an item on our site does not mean it’s legal for you. If an item can’t be legally transferred to you, see our Refund & Returns page for how cancellations work.
Pricing & payment
- Prices, availability, and product details come from our distributors and may change or contain errors. We may cancel orders affected by pricing errors and refund you in full.
- We accept card payments online. A 3.5% card fee may apply to in-person card payments.
- California purchases include sales tax (7.25%), the 11% California Firearms and Ammunition Excise Tax, and the $37.19 DROS fee where applicable.

Limitation of liability
Products are covered by their manufacturer’s warranty. To the fullest extent allowed by law, SLT Armory isn’t liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the item. You are responsible for the safe and lawful use of anything you buy.
